Hello! I'm Rebekah

I am a wife and mother of 3, an outdoor adventurer, nature and plant lover, and a definite foodie.

I am the creator of Seasonal Alchemy Online and Owner/Founder of Purearth Organics health food store, juice bar and cafe, where I have been an educator for the last 20 years on all forms of healthy living, nutrition, herbal and superfood classes.

My formal education in Biological Sciences grew my understanding of this amazing planet that we live on but my Herbal studies with wild Rose College and so many other amazing educators on traditional and ancestral wisdom, helped me apply the knowledge of our amazing plant allies to me personally, in ways that I could actually feel, emotionally and physically. It gave me an empowered sense of sovereignty over my health and my ability to care for my family.

There is always a catalyst to why we end up on certain paths. I had been a competitive athlete since the time I was little so I understood the importance of nutrition and healthy food. I also got my very first Health Food Book, "Fit for Life" from my Grandma when I was 19. But in my late teens I started having serious digestive problems. Probably from the hours and hours spent swimming in chlorinated pools on swim teams, along with a family history of severe digestive disorders and allergies. I was in pain anytime I ate anything.

When my first son was born he also struggled with digestive troubles, allergies and failure to thrive. Doctors, nurses, dietitians; no one had answers. That's when I really started to learn! I spent every waking minute studying and learning, for him, and in doing so, I healed too. I learned that we are responsible or our own health, not to take it for granted and that when we provide our bodies with what it needs, we can heal and feel good again!

Our families Organic Health Food store was born out of my desire to feed my family the best food I could find, with no restrictions, and from the lovely community that supported us, I found out that my passion was really to educate and inspire WOMEN to improve their health and, provide them with the tools to do so!
